So, yes. I’m posting. Since October things changed a lot in my life. I moved from São Paulo to a tiny horrible city in Santa Catarina, and already hate everyone here. Santa Catarina is a beautiful place, full of prejudiced and small minded people, which is a real shame (just to clear it out: I lived most of my life in Santa Catarina, before moving to São Paulo to study).
My bullet journal also changed a lot, as you can see. I no longer use a notebook (the Cícero notebook is really expensive now and I can’t afford it, so I made my own planner). And I’m now a minimalist, since I work 40h/week, no time can be found to make those nice and artistic spreads. It is actually working better as a bullet journal now.
Allowed myself the use of some washi tape this month, and for those who have seen my personal instagram, that is rare. Another thing: I’m moving back to my old blog (And She Journals, because the use of The Lady & The Ink will be fully professional from now on, so the personal stuff (like the bujo) will only be posted there.
And that’s it, people. Hope you can find some inspiration on these pages. 😉
I know it seems like I post my monthly setups and disappear. That is not my intention, though. With all the studying (both for the physics major and to become a völva) and planning a new business, I saw myself with no free time to post anything else. For that I’m really sorry. Maybe I’ll be more active from now on.
So, the setup!
I saw a lot of Halloweeny Octobers. Also a lot of Autumnal Octobers. But since I’m pagan and I’m on the southern hemisphere, it doesn’t make any sense. Samhain is celebrated in March, and we’re just beginning spring time.
It was on Tuesday. Listening to Tori Amos’ Parasol, it hit me: A WOMAN WITH A PARASOL IN A WALL. But that was too much, the space I had left was too small for a woman with a parasol, so the woman alone was just fine. HAHA
Not gonna lie. I love this calendar page. It is the best I have done so far. When it was finished, I was so proud of myself! PS: the crow is because I still think October screams Halloween.
There is not much to say: it is mostly the same as last month. I got rid of the sleep tracker and wellness tracker.
I did add a witchcraft planning page, though, because I don’t take my Book of Shadows everywhere, so it is useful to plan some things on the road and then transfer it to the BoS.
I’m so excited for this month! I know, I always am! 😆 But it’s because a new month on the bullet journal is like a new beginning, a new chance for you to work things out, even if you couldn’t do it in the past. It really feels like leaving the past and focusing on the present and near future. 🙂
So, my monthly spread didn’t change much, only that I made the boxes smaller, because I wasn’t using all of that space anyway. More space to put tasks, goals and two pretty calendars.
That did not change AT ALL! The habit tracker really became a cleaning tracker, mostly because my habits are in the weekly spread, so I don’t need to put them here. 🙂
No changes here either. My goal is to read 3 books in August, so I marked the space (still choosing them, though).
This changed a lot. I talked with my psychiatrist (who is a fan of my charts and trackers) and it seems what I have is not depression, so this month I’m trying to track what I really feel and how well I feel every day. Also, my medication time, because that has to be consistent. 😀
I was so excited to do this setup I can’t even tell you! This is a new notebook, and I’m so happy with it, it is a Cícero (a brand that only exists in Brazil, it seems) and is very good (review is coming soon, in portuguese, on the channel).
Anyways! Let me tell you about my monthly setup. Here, on the calendar, I haven’t change much, only made the squares smaller, so I could have the goals and task session on the side. I think this is pretty! ❤
Also, nothing that new in my expenses log and habit tracker (now it seems to be more like a cleaning-house-tracker, but it’s ok).
I kept the reading log, because one of my goals for this month is to read 3 books, and I want to keep track of my reading. 😀 Also, added the sleep tracker there and I won’t keep it in the weeklies, because I find it hard to see how I’m doing with that if I have to look in a lot of pages. Doesn’t seem organized.
This page is very personal, but very helpful to me. I keep track of my mood and depression here. It is a useful tool when I’m going to the psychiatrist and all of that. Also, it’s pretty! 🙂
Then, my dailies!
And that’s it for now. I’ll try some different weeklies and I’ll show you guys in another post. And I’ll review this setup in august to tell you how it worked out! 😀
Ps: If you want to be featured on my weekly or daily series, tag me on instagram (@theladyandtheink) and add the #makeityourbujo. I’ll make some special posts!
