The August Setup

I’m so excited for this month! I know, I always am! πŸ˜† But it’s because a new month on the bullet journal is like a new beginning, a new chance for you to work things out, even if you couldn’t do it in the past. It really feels like leaving the past and focusing on the present and near future. πŸ™‚

Monthly layout: calendar

So, my monthly spread didn’t change much, only that I made the boxes smaller, because I wasn’t using all of that space anyway. More space to put tasks, goals and two pretty calendars.

Expense log & Habit tracker (more like cleaning tracker)

That did not change AT ALL! The habit tracker really became a cleaning tracker, mostly because my habits are in the weekly spread, so I don’t need to put them here. πŸ™‚

Reading log & Sleep tracker

No changes here either. My goal is to read 3 books in August, so I marked the spaceΒ (still choosing them, though).

This changed a lot. I talked with my psychiatrist (who is a fan of my charts and trackers) and it seems what I have is not depression, so this month I’m trying to track what I really feel and how well I feel every day. Also, my medication time, because that has to be consistent. πŸ˜€

Hope I could give you guys some inspiration πŸ™‚

Trackers

Yes, me & my trackers. I love trackers. They are so useful! If I do [or need to do] something repeatedly, I need a tracker. πŸ™‚

This one you have seen before, on my Wishlist & Savings post. Originally, I wanted Smaug hoarding his gold, but then the drawing was to complex to me, so I gave up. On the other hand, I still wanted to have Smaug there, so there it is. πŸ™‚

Smaug will protect my gold.

Now that I’m taking the blog more seriously, thought that a social media tracker would be a very nice tool to have, so I can see how I’m doing and all. πŸ™‚

I know! Forgot Instagram!

My reading log is also a reading tracker, where I put how many pages the book has and track how much I read every day, something like this:

|----------|-----------|----------|----------|
0p.       100p.       200p.      300p.      400p.

bullet journal reading log and sleep tracker

The reading log functions as a tracker (for how many pages I read per day or week, depending on the size of the book) and the sleep tracker is more a timeline of my sleep.

This one you have also seen before (the July setup post) and is pretty simple. Credits for the depression level and symptoms tracker go to writes like a girlΒ πŸ™‚

bullet journal depression and mood tracker

The monthly expense and habit tracker are pretty self explanatory, right?

bullet journal habit and expenses tracker

This is my faithful companion: the weekly tracker! I use this much more often than other trackers, just for the essentials of having a good day. πŸ™‚

The first week of july πŸ˜€

The daily tracker is not so much of a tracker, but I do try to keep track of some things: like my medication, hydration and the weather. πŸ™‚

I am liking these one page dailies. A lot of journalling.

So, what about you? Do you guys have trackers as well? πŸ™‚

The july setup

I was so excited to do this setup I can’t even tell you! This is a new notebook, and I’m so happy with it, it is a CΓcero (a brand that only exists in Brazil, it seems) and is very good (review is coming soon, in portuguese, on the channel).

Anyways! Let me tell you about my monthly setup. Here, on the calendar, I haven’t change much, only made the squares smaller, so I could have the goals and task session on the side. I think this is pretty! ❀

Also, nothing that new in my expenses log and habit tracker (now it seems to be more like a cleaning-house-tracker, but it’s ok).

160630_02

I kept the reading log, because one of my goals for this month is to read 3 books, and I want to keep track of my reading. πŸ˜€ Also, added the sleep tracker there and I won’t keep it in the weeklies, because I find it hard to see how I’m doing with that if I have to look in a lot of pages. Doesn’t seem organized.

160630_03

This page is very personal, but very helpful to me. I keep track of my mood and depression here. It is a useful tool when I’m going to the psychiatrist and all of that. Also, it’s pretty! πŸ™‚

Then, my dailies!

160630_06

And that’s it for now. I’ll try some different weeklies and I’ll show you guys in another post. And I’ll review this setup in august to tell you how it worked out! πŸ˜€

Ps: If you want to be featured on my weekly or daily series, tag me on instagram (@theladyandtheink) and add the #makeityourbujo. I’ll make some special posts!

June weeklies

I talked about my weeklies on my last post, and I thought I’ll show it to you guys:

160530_05

The day is divided in three sections: the first is the events and appointments that will take place that day (time sensitive tasks), the second is my meal tracker and the third, my study plan for the day (like Β· study electromagnetism, chapter 2).

There are a lot of new things here (if you have seen my last weekly, you’ve already noticed):

  • a sleep tracker: very simple, only to track how many hours I sleep each day;
  • a shopping list for the week;
  • a mood tracker, that I’m just trying out;
  • a chore tracker mixed with tasks tracker, and
  • a frog. πŸ˜›

And that’s all. If you have any questions about any other things, just comment below.
